Staying professional

So I'm reading this article on a BVI news site. And i have to wonder what did Dj Comm.......um a DJ did to him. This writer who I'm sure is a Nice guy normally writes some pretty OK articles, but this one just comes off as him bitching about some unknown Dj taking his girl. He goes on and on about what men will tell women just to get in their panties, all the lyrics and everything men will do to impress women.
My question of course is,"So how did you get your girl?", I'm guessing he too did things to impress her and probably "rylicks" out her ears. So does he have a valid point, or his he just venting because someone with a better game took his woman? The answer to that question is the problem I have with the article, it's a good topic, men and women shouldn't just up and leave their long term partners because someone comes with sweet words and a shinny car, (speaking of that I should go get mine a power wash-you know as a Dj i have to stay shinning).
Anyway, where was I, yeah, that's the problem I have with the article, it's a good article that has been colored very badly with the obvious emotions of the writer. that's a line that writers have to draw sometimes.
We might see something that makes us sooooo mad, but what are you gonna do, well not being an expert, I'll simply say what I do, I read the news, just read it, I don't spice it u with my own opinions, I wait until I'm on air with Dj Dre or Gadiethz and then i let some out. Now with this guy, he's not reading the news, its an opinion column, so that makes it all the more weird, because his opinion is supposed to be in there, I'm just not thinking that personal.
He's commenting on the human condition and normally gives insight into general daily life, the problem with getting this in depth personal is that you don't relate to as many people and that's what writers wanna do.
Plus, it just lets the world know that a Dj stole your girl, now you business is all out there, lol.

That's my 5cents.
See you guys in my next article and dont forget to listen to me and Dre for our live chats on air. Not able to get to your radio, or not in the BVI well get back to www.zrodfm.com.

Josiah's Bay

Im looking for an apartment. WHY? Because i apparently choose to live in the worst part of beautiful Tortola.
I am a resident of Josiah's Bay and I love it here, it's close to the beach (even though i never go), it's quiet(for the most part) and I have amazing yard space(yeah, YARD SPACE). Sounds great right? It is, except that I basically live in the pond, that wasn't part of the initial deal but it was slipped in somehow. After a couple hours of light rain i got to watch a duck gliding in the water and bobbing for fishes, i like the wild life, it's great, the problem i had with the swimming duck though is that it was blocking my way as i was trying to park. You see the duck was in my front yard, i don't love wild life that much.
I also have the joy, of always having my water cut off, my power cut off all the time and i just LOVE the drivers who think that the crappy road is the greatest thing since slice bread. Oh these guys love this road so much they should move down here(any of you reading wanna trade?). They rage up and down pulling over for no one, gangster leaning in there cars that sing songs of freedom with every pothole they hit.
In case you haven't guessed yet, i'm being sarcastic(or at least trying) I love my place, i just think that the pond that for unknown reasons (wink wink), keeps flooding my yard and now its a breeding ground for mosquitoes, oh the joy, i had started getting bored with having to park 9inches from my stairs to avoid the water...oh and the ducks. Now i get to buy $25 worth of bug spray to deal with the mosquitoes which have taken over "J Bay" as they have the luxurious pond in which to breed.
So what should i do? I cant make up my mind. Cause to be honest all these mosquito bites are making my arms look bigger. What? its quicker that working out.

Introduction

I am Darvin Jackson aka the Sandman aka the News Man, yes, same person.
For my first post, i thought I'd properly introduce myself.
28 years old, Jamaican, fun loving crazy dude. I've been working in radio for a couple years now and i'm satisfied that i made the right choice with Zrod-fm. There is no pretense at Zrod, the craziness and energy you hear on air is how it really is.
The news is aired at 6:45am, 12 noon and 5:15pm and hourly updates called news minutes, but i can usually be found on air with Dj Gadiethz or Dre just being myself, goofing off or talking about serious stuff. My point of view is sometimes uncommon but mostly i'm just that voice that says what you wanted to say but were afraid to.
if you've been entertained i'm happy.
